GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

Any dispute, violation, controversy, contest or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach, termination or validity thereof (hereinafter the “Disputes”) shall be resolved amicably in the first instance. The Parties agree to meet to resolve such dispute in good faith. Should such a solution not be reached, within [30] thirty days from the date of commencement of the dispute, difference or disagreement or such longer period of time as may be mutually agreed by the Parties in writing, such dispute, difference or disagreement shall be referred to Arbitration and shall be finally resolved through arbitration conducted by a tribunal of three arbitrators, with the right of each party to appoint an arbitrator, who in turn will appoint a Presiding Arbitrator. The Presiding Arbitrator shall pass a speaking award. Any order/directions/awards of the majority of the tribunal shall be final and binding on both the parties. The arbitration proceedings shall be in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Rules there under as at present in force. The seat of arbitration shall be Pune, India. The arbitration shall be administered in accordance with its practice, rules and regulations. If the award passed in the Arbitration proceeding is not acceptable to any of the Party, then the Party is free to approach the appropriate court of law as agreed herein below. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of India without giving effect to their conflict of laws principles or rules. The courts at Pune, India shall have exclusive Jurisdiction.

TERMINATION

Notwithstanding any of these website terms and conditions, Karve Institute of Social Service, Pune reserves the right, without notice in its sole discretion, to terminate your account and/or block your use of the website. Upon termination, you must destroy and cease to use all materials obtained from this website, copies and related documentation thereof with immediate

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case you feel that the admission and other services received are not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our Institute office within 2 working days. The institute administration, after looking into your complaint, will take an appropriate decision.

Tropical Leaves

Refund of Application/Registration Fee

  1. Candidates will submit their form online using the link given on the website. They can pay the application fees and service charges using modes of payment available- Credit-Debit, Net Banking, and PhonePay. Once the payment is done and necessary documents have been uploaded for eg. scanned copy of the candidate's photograph, scanned copy of the candidate's signature, scanned copy of various certificates, the application will be considered complete, and candidates will receive an automated email of successful payment. Candidates must save their form as a pdf document and email as a receipt of their payment for future use.

  2. Candidates are highly advised to go through prospectus carefully for eligibility criteria and other aspects related to admission for each program. A candidate applying for a program for which he/she is not eligible will not be given a refund of application fees.

  3. The form fee once paid is nonrefundable. Candidates who end up paying the application fees using the payment gateway more than once will be given a refund of the extra amount paid within 30 days. However such candidates are supposed to send an email attaching the evidence of an extra payment.

  4. If a candidate is found to have given incorrect details about his/her   academic qualification, personal details, caste details he/she will be disqualified and will not be given a refund of the application fees.
