Counselling

At Karve Institute of Social Service (KINSS), the Centre for Mental Health provides essential counselling services to support students’ emotional and academic well-being. Faculty members are also actively involved in offering individual guidance, ensuring students access personalized support as they navigate academic challenges and personal concerns.

The Center provides individual counselling sessions where students can discuss personal challenges, manage stress, and address academic issues in a confidential and supportive environment. As part of the Individual Guidance System, faculty advisors further enhance this support by working closely with students, helping them build resilience and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.

The Centre for Mental Health also organizes workshops on study skills and coping mechanisms and group counselling sessions that foster peer support and collaboration. These services collectively aim to promote students’ academic success, emotional stability, and overall personal growth, contributing to a more positive and enriching experience at KINSS.
